1967 A big year

In 2018 I made a point of searching out the many photographic images, 35 mm slides mainly, that I had stored for more than 50 years.

This page shows what happened in the years 1966 to 1971.

In the summer of 1967 Frances and I enjoyed a holiday in Guernsey with my parents. In September I was 21 which meant many things, the end of my apprenticeship and a change of departments at BAC from R&D to the Wind tunnel, now a staff member with a full salary. Frances and I were engaged.

Frances and I met in 1966, she had a good camera and took some of the first pictures you see here.

September 1967 my 21st birthday celebrations, a party at my home in Guildford.

Followed by a posh dinner in a hotel near Dorking, where we announced our engagement.
In 1969 we married and moved into our house in Farncombe, the house warming and more.
